Quantity Surveyor

Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge in civils and earthworks? We’re recruiting on behalf of a specialist contractor for an exciting project in Drax, offering a highly competitive package and flexible working arrangements.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on on site, working closely with project teams, and making a real impact on project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Managing project costs, valuations, and forecasts

Handling subcontractor procurement and account management

*

Leading change control and variation management

*

Ensuring commercial compliance across the project

*

Supporting Project Managers and site teams with commercial advice

What We’re Looking For:

*

Proven Quantity Surveyor experience in civils or earthworks

*

Strong knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar)

*

Confident in subcontractor and stakeholder management

*

Commercially astute, proactive, and organised

*

Happy to spend 2–3 days per week on site, with flexibility to do more
