The Role
As Senior Civil Engineer, you will take responsibility for delivering infrastructure packages across a variety of schemes, with a strong emphasis on drainage and highways design.
You’ll operate with autonomy while also mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to wider project coordination across offices.
Your responsibilities will include:
Undertaking feasibility assessments and technical appraisals
Delivering drainage and highway designs from concept through to construction
Managing Section 38, 104, 106 and 278 agreements
Preparing fee proposals and supporting commercial planning
Leading project teams, managing resources and forecasting workloads
Coordinating with structural and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated design solutions This role combines technical depth with client interaction and leadership opportunity.
About You You will be a confident Senior Civil Engineer who is comfortable managing projects and supporting team members.
You’ll bring:
Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
Experience leading project teams within a consultancy environment
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
Solid experience in drainage and highways design
Experience delivering projects to programme and budget
Working knowledge of adoption procedures and associated agreements
Strong communication and collaboration skills You’ll be proactive, detail-focused and comfortable taking ownership of your work.
