Groundworks Site Manager (Senior)

£300/day CIS (weekly) OR £60–£70k PAYE + vehicle | Travel expenses covered
Projects within 35 miles of Bishop’s Stortford | Start ASAP | £2m–£6m packages | 07:30–17:00

We’re looking for a senior, non-hands-on Site Manager to run major groundworks packages from start to finish. You’ll be the person setting standards on programme, H&S, quality and productivity, managing the site team and subcontractors.

Key duties

Manage day-to-day delivery of groundworks packages £2m–£6m

*

Lead labour, plant and subcontractors — strong people management is essential

*

Drive H&S standards: RAMS, permits, briefings, audits, close-outs

*

Coordinate closely with Engineers and report into the Contracts Director

*

Plan works (lookaheads, sequencing) and maintain quality and records

*

IT confident: 4Projects used for drawings/document control
