Dozer Operator: Major Energy Infrastructure (Isle of Skye)

Location: Isle of Skye, Scotland (High-Quality Accommodation Provided)

Rate: £26.12 (CIS)

Rota: 14 days on, 7 days off

Duration: Long-Term (3+ Years)

The Role:

We are looking for a precision Dozer Operator to join a Tier 1 infrastructure project on the Isle of Skye. You will be at the forefront of the civils team, responsible for the initial bulk earthworks, site leveling, and the creation of access tracks across challenging mountainous terrain to support the installation of major transmission towers.

Key Responsibilities:

Bulk Earthworks: Executing large-scale muck-shifting and site leveling for tower pad foundations.

GPS Operation: Utilising Topcon or Trimble 3D GPS systems to achieve high-precision finish levels and batters.

Access Infrastructure: Cutting in and maintaining heavy-duty access roads for cranes and heavy plant in peat-heavy and rocky environments.

Safety & Maintenance: Conducting daily plant checks and maintaining 100% compliance with strict Tier 1 safety and environmental protocols near watercourses.

Requirements:

CPCS or NPORS (Blue Card Preferred): Dozer ticket (D6/D7/D8 experience).

GPS Expertise: Proven ability to work independently to 3D models using Topcon/Trimble.

Infrastructure Pedigree: Previous experience on major highways, wind farms, or energy projects is essential.

Compliance: Must hold a current Safety Critical Medical.
