Assistant Surveyor – Passive Fire Protection

The Assistant Surveyor supports the commercial team in delivering fire‑safety projects, assisting with cost control, measurement, documentation, and contract administration. The role provides hands‑on experience while developing technical and commercial skills.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparing valuations, cost reports, and financial documentation for fire‑safety works.

Support measurement, take‑offs, and cost analysis for planned and reactive projects.

Help manage variations, change control records, and subcontractor accounts.

Maintain accurate project documentation in line with requirements.

Liaise with site teams to gather information, verify progress, and support commercial reporting.

Contribute to procurement activities, including issuing enquiries and reviewing quotations.

Support compliance with fire‑safety regulations, internal procedures, and commercial governance.

Develop knowledge of contracts, commercial processes, and fire‑safety standards through on‑the‑job learning
