The Managing Surveyor leads the commercial and contractual delivery of fire‑safety projects, ensuring financial control, compliance, and high‑quality service across the portfolio. The role oversees a team of surveyors and works closely with operational leads to maintain strong commercial governance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of surveyors, providing guidance, performance management, and technical support.

Oversee commercial management across multiple fire‑safety projects, ensuring accurate cost planning, forecasting, and reporting.

Manage contract administration, including valuations, variations, change control, and final accounts.

Ensure projects meet regulatory and fire‑safety compliance requirements within agreed budgets.

Identify commercial risks and opportunities, implementing strategies to protect project margins.

Build strong working relationships with internal teams, supply chain partners, and external stakeholders.

Support tendering, procurement, and commercial input into new business opportunities
