MEP Commercial Lead
This is an opportunity to lead the commercial function on a flagship €300M high-tech development within a growing European portfolio.
You will hold full accountability for MEP commercial performance on a technically complex facility, positioning yourself at the centre of a rapidly expanding mission-critical market with strong long-term progression prospects.
Responsibilities
* Take full commercial ownership of large-scale MEP packages from procurement to final account
* Lead and manage the MEP commercial team on-site
* Oversee cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting for mechanical and electrical scopes
* Manage subcontract procurement, negotiation and package strategy
* Drive contractual compliance, change management and variation control
* Identify, assess and mitigate commercial risk across MEP works
* Act as the senior commercial interface for MEP matters with project leadership and key stakeholders
* Ensure robust commercial governance and reporting processes are maintained
* Support claims management and dispute resolution where required
* Contribute to overall project commercial strategy and margin protection
Criteria for the Role
* Extensive experience delivering large-scale MEP packages within high-tech, mission-critical or complex building environments
* Proven track record operating in a senior commercial leadership role on major projects
* Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical procurement strategies
* Advanced contractual knowledge and commercial negotiation capability
* Experience managing and developing commercial teams
* Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-value project environments
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
* Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) advantageous
