The successful candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, excellent client-facing skills, and the confidence to lead complex instructions from inception through to completion. Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership

Lead project management and contract administration for major workspace fit-outs, refurbishments, and capital works (typically £50K–£20M).

Manage full project lifecycles, including feasibility, design coordination, specification writing, procurement, contract oversight, and delivery.

Oversee compliance, programme management, risk control, and quality assurance across multiple concurrent projects.

Professional Building Surveying

Deliver a broad range of commercial building surveying services, including Acquisition Surveys, Schedules of Condition, and Project Monitoring.

Prepare and negotiate Schedules of Dilapidations on behalf of landlords and tenants.

Undertake building defect analysis and provide practical, solution-focused recommendations.

Client Management & Advisory

Act as a trusted advisor to corporate occupiers, SMEs, private equity investors, and landlords.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear, commercially sound, and technically robust advice.

Represent the business at key project meetings, pitches, and strategic discussions.

Business Development & Leadership

Contribute to business growth through networking, pitching, PR activity, and securing new instructions.

Support senior leadership in shaping service lines, market positioning, and overall business strategy.

Mentor junior surveyors and promote high professional standards across the team.

About You

MRICS qualified Building Surveyor with significant post-qualification experience.

Proven track record delivering complex projects and professional surveying instructions.

Strong commercial awareness with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple instructions simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Confident client-facing professional with the credibility to represent the business externally.
