Mechanical Design Manager / Engineer
True are partnering with a growing HVAC Design & Delivery specialist contractor, recognised for high-quality Cat A and Cat B commercial fit-out projects across the South. As part of a strategic expansion, the business is establishing a new regional hub in Bournemouth and is now looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Manager or Senior Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping this new operation.
As Mechanical Design Manager/ Engineer, you’ll take full ownership of in-house mechanical design delivery, supporting commercial office fit-out projects from early concept through to construction issues and technical support during delivery. This is a hands-on role suited to someone confident working independently, producing coordinated designs across VRV/VRF, chilled water, LTHW, pipework and plumbing systems. Initially office-based, the role offers longer-term hybrid flexibility once established.
This is a rare opportunity to join at an early stage, become the technical lead within a new regional hub, and work closely with senior leadership to build best-practice design processes as the business continues its strong growth trajectory.
