Senior Site Manager
A highly regarded, publicly listed civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the successful delivery of major infrastructure and civil engineering projects across the South Coast.
This is a high profile leadership role within a financially robust organisation known for delivering complex highways, water, and infrastructure schemes for public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will take full operational responsibility for site delivery, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all on-site operations across large-scale high profile projects.

Oversee Site Managers, Engineers, subcontractors, and direct labour teams.
*
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
*
Drive programme delivery in line with contract requirements and budget controls.
*
Liaise closely with Project Managers, commercial teams, and senior leadership.
*
Maintain strong client relationships and represent the business professionally on site.
*
Monitor risk, manage change control processes, and mitigate potential delays.
*
Chair site progress meetings and provide detailed reporting to senior stakeholders.
*
Foster a high-performance culture focused on safety, accountability, and excellence.
Experience
*
Proven track record as a Site Manager within civil engineering, construction or infrastructure.
*
Experience delivering highways, water, utilities, or heavy civils projects.
*
Strong understanding of NEC contracts and programme management.
