Fawkes & Reece are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary Internals Manager to join a leading main contractor on a major £50m+ live project in Cornwall.
The contractor operates across England, Scotland and Wales, delivering design & build, refurbishment and new build schemes across the healthcare and education sectors, including hospitals, schools and universities.

The Project
You will be joining a highly successful delivery team working on RC frame multi-storey buildings within a live environment.
The scheme includes:
• RC concrete frame construction
• Masonry and SFS framing systems
• Curtain walling & window installations
• Flat roofing systems
• Extensive internal partitions and high-quality finishes packages

The Role – Internals Manager
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the coordination, management and successful delivery of all internal packages through to handover.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing all internal works including:
o Drylining and partitions
o Ceilings
o Joinery
o MEP coordination
o Screeds and floor finishes
o Decoration and final finishes
• Driving programme to ensure internals are delivered on time and aligned with overall build sequence
• Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
• Managing quality control and ensuring works meet specification and Building Regulations
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Management Plans
• Maintaining detailed site records and progress reports
• Overseeing snagging, de-snagging and handover documentation
• Monitoring environmental procedures on site
• Supporting buildability and sequencing reviews

Essential Requirements
• SMSTS
• CSCS Manager Card
• Asbestos Awareness
• First Aid at Work
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Strong knowledge of Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act
• Proven experience delivering internal packages on large RC frame projects
• Experience working on healthcare or education schemes (desirable)

What’s On Offer
• £300–£320 per day (PAYE Umbrella)
• Weekly pay
• Immediate start (November)
• 12-month contract with potential for long-term continuation
• Location – Cornwall
