Working closely with the Operations Director, this individual will be the key strategic figure in securing new business, developing client relationships, and driving the company's continued growth. Key Responsibilities
Lead the entire UK preconstruction function, establishing strategy, structure, and best‑practice processes.
Drive business development and client engagement, leveraging existing relationships and building new ones across landlords, developers, occupiers, and consultants.
Secure new projects through proactive client interaction, competitive tendering, and high‑quality bid leadership.
Partner with the Operations Director to align pipeline, delivery capability, and commercial strategy.
Oversee tender submissions, design coordination, estimating, value engineering, and early-stage project planning.
Act as a senior ambassador for the business, representing the company at industry events and client meetings.
Mentor and develop preconstruction and estimating talent as the team grows.
Identify new sectors, opportunities, and strategic partnerships to support expansion.
Candidate Profile
Strong track record in winning and delivering commercial fit‑out and refurbishment projects in the UK.
A well‑established client network and the ability to bring immediate market presence.
Experience operating at senior preconstruction or business development level within a respected fit‑out contractor.
Confident leading tenders, influencing clients, and shaping commercial strategy.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast‑growing, agile environment.
Highly credible, commercially astute, and comfortable owning decisions at the highest level.
