Estimator – Interior Fit-Out (UK Wide Projects)

Day rate: dependant on experience £300/day+

Our client is a growing and ambitious interior fit-out company based in Cardiff, delivering high-quality commercial interior solutions across the UK. Due to continued growth in the SOuth Wales region, they are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimator to join their team.

The Role
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for interior fit-out projects nationwide. You will work closely with the commercial, design, and project delivery teams to ensure smooth project transition from tender stage through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions

Review drawings, specifications, and scope documentation

*

Complete take-offs and produce accurate cost breakdowns

*

Obtain and analyse quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

*

Identify project risks and value engineering opportunities

*

Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required

*

Support the commercial team during negotiations

*

Maintain strong working relationships with clients and suppliers

Requirements

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within interior fit-out, refurbishment, or construction

*

Strong knowledge of materials, labour costs, and current market rates

*

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

*

High level of numerical accuracy and commercial awareness

*

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Full UK driving licence
