Estimator – Permanent Role

A long‑established organization is seeking a skilled Estimator & Purchasing Specialist to join the team on a permanent basis. 

Office based in Greater Manchester

Salary: £30,000-£35,000 Per Annum

The Opportunity

You'll work closely with Project Managers, the Design Team, and an experienced Estimating Team to support projects from early design through to budget approval. The role focuses on estimating, budgeting, and procurement-ideal for someone who enjoys analytical work, collaboration, and contributing to business growth.

The company is open on background and sector experience; what matters most is strong estimating and purchasing capability.

Key Responsibilities

Produce accurate cost estimates for design concepts and project proposals.

Prepare detailed estimates and reports to support the leadership team in decision‑making.

Manage and oversee project budgets, ensuring financial accuracy throughout the lifecycle.

Handle procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination.

Use cost‑estimation and procurement software confidently; maintain strong IT literacy.

Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Designers, and fellow Estimators to ensure smooth project delivery.

Contribute to continuous improvement and support wider company growth initiatives.

No site visits required-this is an office‑based and collaborative role.
