Location: Northwest London

Salary:£70,000 DOE

A growing groundworks and reinforced concrete contractor operating across London and the Home Counties is seeking a proactive and well-organised Commercial / Business Development Manager to support the next phase of expansion.

This is a key position within an ambitious construction business, ideal for someone with industry experience who understands how main contractors and developers operate.

The Role

You will play a central role in generating new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting tendering activities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identifying and engaging new main contractors and developers

* Monitoring tender portals and LinkedIn for new opportunities

* Responding professionally to enquiries and incoming communications

* Following up quotations and maintaining strong client relationships

* Preparing and submitting PQQs and tender documentation

* Supporting pricing submissions alongside the Director

* Managing and maintaining the CRM/contact database

* Assisting with marketing initiatives and LinkedIn presence

About You

* Previous experience within the construction industry (groundworks / reinforced concrete preferred)

* Strong understanding of the tendering process

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Confident liaising with contractors and commercial managers

* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

* Proficient in Microsoft Office

* Full UK driving licence preferred
