The Company
Our client is a well-established residential developer delivering high-quality housing developments across Ireland. With a strong pipeline of projects and continued growth in the market, they are seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join their team on a major residential development in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.
Project
Large-scale residential development comprising 350–400 houses, with an estimated 3-year construction programme. The project forms part of a wider pipeline of upcoming developments, offering excellent long-term career opportunities.
The Role
Reporting to the Site/Project Manager, the Senior Site Engineer will play a key role in managing site engineering activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Setting out and surveying for residential construction works.
• Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinating subcontractors and site teams to ensure programme targets are achieved.
• Monitoring and maintaining high standards of quality control on site.
• Managing site records, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.
• Liaising with design teams, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Assisting with planning and sequencing of works to maintain programme.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations on site.

Requirements
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in a Site Engineer / Senior Site Engineer role.
• Strong experience working on residential developments, ideally large-scale housing projects.
• Proficient in setting out using Total Station / GPS equipment.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
