Registered Building Inspector

Our distinguished firm in the buildings sector, is currently seeking a skilled Registered Building Inspector to join their team on a contract basis. This position is a fantastic opportunity for those with expertise in Building Control, particularly with a Class 3H certification.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspecting buildings and construction sites to ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
Reviewing building plans and drawings for adherence to standards
Issuing certificates of compliance and other related documentation
Providing expert advice on building control to developers and construction teams
Identifying potential safety hazards and recommending corrective actions
Maintaining detailed inspection records and reports
Conducting follow-up inspections to ensure rectifications have been made
Liaising with stakeholders to address concerns and ensure smooth project execution

Job Requirements:

Certification in Class 3H for Building Inspection
Experience in Building Control and inspection roles
Comprehensive understanding of building codes and safety regulations
Ability to interpret and review construction plans and specifications
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
