Role: Health & Safety Officer – Facilities Management

Location: Bristol (3-4 days per week onsite)

Salary: Circa £40,000 depending on experience

Eligibility: Must be a British citizen. Successful candidates will need to pass HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.

Role Overview

You will support the Facilities Management team to ensure all projects and contractor work are carried out safely and comply with best practice. Your work will include:

Performing Health & Safety inspections and ensuring any actions are completed

*

Collecting data and producing reports

*

Identifying problems and creating practical solutions

*

Guiding teams to maintain compliance across the business

*

Conducting investigations and producing reports/statistics

*

Promoting H&S best practices in all FM projects

*

Planning your schedule to visit MBDA UK sites regularly

*

Managing your own workload proactively

*

Building strong relationships with contractors and colleagues across the business

Skills & Experience Required

*

NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate

*

Experience working in construction environments

*

Auditing processes

Desirable:

*

NEBOSH Diploma (Level 6 preferred)

*

CSCS Card

*

Auditing qualifications (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001)
