About the Role
As the Health and Safety Manager you will be responsible for safe systems of work and compliance across multiple live installations and service activities. Key responsibilities and requirements include:
* Overseeing health and safety across varied smart technology and security systems projects
* Preparing, reviewing and approving risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)
* Conducting site audits, inspections and compliance reviews
* Ensuring alignment with CDM Regulations, statutory H&S legislation and internal standards
* Leading site inductions and delivering toolbox talks or briefings
* Investigating incidents and supporting corrective actions
* Advising project teams on safe systems of work and control measures
* Monitoring subcontractor compliance and performance
* Maintaining accurate documentation and records
* Supporting environmental, quality and system compliance where required
* Relevant H&S qualification such as NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
* Proven experience in a Health and Safety Manager or SHEQ Manager role within technical, electrical or building services environments
This role requires a competent Health and Safety Manager comfortable working across office planning and site delivery environments, engaging with technical teams, contractors and stakeholders, with occasional travel to project sites.
