Electrical Engineer – Data Centre – Finland
Our client is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe. As an engineering-focused organisation, they have grown to become one of the leading and most trusted companies in our sector.
We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team. This position will be based on-site in Espoo, Finland.
Responsibilities
* Electrical Design Review & Technical Support
Review electrical drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules, providing technical support to site teams and ensuring all installations align with project requirements and client standards.
* Site Inspection & Quality Assurance
Carry out regular inspections of electrical works—including LV/MV systems, containment, cabling, switchgear, UPS, and generators—to ensure compliance with design, QA/QC procedures, and EU regulations.
* Testing, Commissioning & Verification
Support and witness electrical testing and commissioning activities, ensuring systems are energised, tested, and validated safely and in accordance with project commissioning plans.
* Coordination with Subcontractors & Other Disciplines
Work closely with electrical subcontractors, mechanical teams, civil teams, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues, manage interfaces, and maintain efficient workflow across the project.
* Documentation, Reporting & Compliance Control
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, inspection reports, red-line drawings, test records, and compliance documentation, ensuring accuracy and readiness for quality audits and client handover.
Requirements
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role on large scale construction projects (preferably Data Centres)
Must have relevant degree level qualifications or equivalent trades background
Benefits
€80,000 – €100,000 + Accommodation, 17/4 Rotation, Flights, Travel, Healthcare, Pension, €250 net per week overseas allowance
