An established Midlands-based building services contractor is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to support continued growth across its mechanical division. The company delivers full mechanical packages from design through to installation and commissioning, with projects typically ranging in value from £500,000 to £3.5 million. Current and upcoming schemes are predominantly within the education and custodial sectors, including schools and prisons, all located within the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Mechanical Project Manager with 3–5 years’ experience who is looking to grow with a stable and expanding business. The role offers genuine progression potential and the chance to take full ownership of mechanical projects from pre-construction through to handover.

Key Responsibilities
* Managing full mechanical building services projects from inception to completion
* Overseeing site teams, subcontractors and specialist suppliers
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
* Managing procurement, programme planning and cost control
* Attending client and contractor meetings and maintaining strong working relationships
* Coordinating commissioning, snagging and final handover
* Working closely with internal design and commercial teams
Requirements
* 3–5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within building services
* Proven experience delivering full mechanical packages (HVAC, pipework, plant rooms, ventilation, etc.)
* Experience on projects within education, custodial, or similar public sector environments is advantageous
* Strong commercial awareness and programme management skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams
* Midlands-based and willing to travel to regional sites
Qualifications
* Relevant mechanical or building services qualification (HNC/HND/Degree preferred)
* SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification
* CSCS card
