Senior Quantity Surveyor
I am currently partnering with a confidential, internationally recognised construction group to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of complex, high-value building projects across the UK.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Role As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial ownership of significant packages or projects from pre-construction through to final account. You will work closely with project leadership teams, supply chain partners and senior stakeholders to ensure commercial performance and risk management across the lifecycle of schemes.
Key responsibilities will include:
Full commercial management of projects and/or major work packages
Cost planning, procurement and subcontract management
Contract administration (NEC / JCT experience advantageous)
Variations, valuations, change control and final accounts
Financial reporting and forecasting
Risk and value engineering management
Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff
REQUIREMENTS
The Candidate We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with:
Proven track record delivering large-scale construction or specialist fit-out projects
Experience within commercial, healthcare, aviation, industrial or complex technical environments
Strong contractual knowledge (NEC and/or JCT)
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar (MRICS desirable but not essential) Experience working within a specialist subcontractor or design-and-build environment would be highly advantageous
