Senior Cost Manager

Cityscape is working with a well-regarded construction consultancy that is looking to bring in a Senior Cost Manager to join its Birmingham team.

This role offers the chance to work on one of the region’s most significant schemes, a £300m new build hospital, delivered using NEC4 contracts. You’ll play a key role in managing the commercial aspects of the project from pre-construction through to delivery, working closely with the client and wider project team.

It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to major projects and wants to take real ownership within a collaborative consultancy environment.

The Role

Lead cost management on a flagship £300m hospital development
Prepare cost plans, manage procurement and oversee tender processes
Administer and manage projects under NEC4 contracts
Produce cost reports, manage change and maintain commercial control
Work closely with clients, contractors and the wider delivery team
Support and mentor junior team members What They’re Looking For

Consultancy-side Quantity Surveyor / Cost Manager experience
Strong understanding of NEC contracts (NEC4 ideally)
Experience on major public sector or healthcare projects is advantageous
Confident managing stakeholders and leading client interactions
MRICS or working towards chartership This is a chance to join a consultancy with a strong reputation in the public sector and a healthy pipeline of major projects.

On offer is a salary up to £75,000 per annum plus benefits.
