Estimator

We’re currently looking for an experienced Estimator to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, working on major construction projects across the Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a highly respected contractor delivering large-scale, high-profile schemes across sectors including commercial, education, healthcare, and leisure.

The Role

As an Estimator, you will play a key role in the pre-construction team, preparing accurate and competitive tenders while working closely with commercial, planning, and design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for major construction projects
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
• Work collaboratively with internal teams during the tender process
• Support bid submissions and presentations

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
• Ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
