Building Services Manager

We are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on their West Midlands projects. This is a pivotal role within the construction team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical and electrical building services across a diverse portfolio of commercial and public sector developments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate all building services activities on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Lead and mentor site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.

Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, health, and safety standards.

Review design documentation and contribute to value engineering and risk management processes.

*

Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners to maintain strong relationships and clear communication.

Candidate Requirements:

Proven experience as a Building Services Manager within a Tier 1 contractor or similar environment.

Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and public health building services.

*

Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractors on large-scale projects.

Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
