Electrical Estimator

Job Title: Electrical Estimator (All Levels – Intermediate to Senior)
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 (DOE) + Package
Sector: M&E Contractor

A leading Birmingham-based M&E contractor is seeking Electrical Estimators at all levels, from Intermediate through to Senior, to support delivery of large multi-million-pound projects across commercial, retail, healthcare, hospitality, and residential sectors.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with a strong pipeline of high-value projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate electrical tenders and cost plans

*

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation

*

Take-offs and bill of quantities production

*

Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations

*

Value engineering and cost analysis

*

Liaise with project managers, clients, and supply chain

*

Support pre-construction and bid submission processes

Requirements:

*

Experience in electrical estimating within an M&E or building services environment

*

Experience pricing projects from £500k to multi-million-pound value

*

Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations

*

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

*

Good commercial awareness

Qualifications:

*

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

*

18th Edition (desirable)

*

HNC/HND in Building Services or Electrical Engineering (advantageous)
