Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis, delivering construction projects across the education and residential sectors.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for managing projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Full lifecycle management of education and residential projects

*

Programme planning and delivery management

*

Management of site teams including Site Managers and subcontractors

*

Budget control and cost management in collaboration with Commercial team

*

Chairing client and subcontractor meetings

*

Risk management and mitigation planning

*

Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and CDM requirements

*

Overseeing quality assurance and snag-free handover

*

Managing stakeholder relationships including consultants and end users

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Project Manager within a main contractor environment

*

Strong background delivering school and/or residential schemes

*

Experience managing multiple subcontract packages

*

Excellent programme management skills

*

Strong commercial awareness

*

SMSTS (essential)

*

CSCS Black Card

*

First Aid at Work

*

Strong leadership and communication skills

Desirable

*

Experience on DfE frameworks or local authority education projects

*

Experience delivering both new build and refurbishment schemes

*

Knowledge of BREEAM or sustainability requirements
