Quality Manager – Construction

Talented People are recruiting on behalf of a client within the construction industry who are looking for an experienced Quality Manager within the sector to join on a permanent basis based in Havant!

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with strong experience in civil engineering and construction projects to take ownership of quality assurance across design, procurement and construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Team management

* Reviewing, updating and maintaining the project quality plans

* Working with other departments to improve the quality of projects

* Monitoring inspection and test results

* Producing monthly quality reports for the client

* Reviewing designs from concept through to detailed design to ensure they meet constructability and quality requirements

* Managing defects, non-conformances and corrective actions proactively

* Conducting internal and second-party audits in line with ISO 19011

* Ensuring compliance at all times within project parameters

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

* Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) within the construction industry

* Strong record-keeping and data management skills

* High attention to detail

* Experience producing and managing Inspection and Test Plans
