A principal contractor with sustained year on year profits are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, delivering projects across the education and healthcare sectors.
 
This is a great opportunity for a commercially astute QS who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with leadership, and helping shape the commercial direction of schemes from pre-construction through to final account.
 
The Role: 

Managing the commercial aspects of building projects within education and healthcare
Cost planning, estimating, and tender analysis
Working alongside the Commercial Manager and Director on budgets and forecasts
Managing subcontract procurement and contract administration (JCT / NEC)
Monitoring risks, opportunities, and overall project financial performance
Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the commercial team 
What They’re Looking For: 

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or similar
Proven experience working for a main contractor
Strong knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
Experience managing projects commercially from start to finish
Ideally RICS or CIOB membership (or working towards)
