Site Agent

Hays Civil Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to support the delivery of a major infrastructure project in Bridgwater. This role forms part of a wider strategic programme (HPC) in the region and offers the opportunity to take a leading position on a high‑profile scheme.

Your New Role

As Site Agent, you will oversee day‑to‑day site operations to ensure the works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme and specification. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage site documentation, drive progress, and ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements.

Essential Skills

Civil Engineering or related qualification
CSCS card
SMSTS certification
Full UK/EEC driving licenceDesirable Skills

Proven experience managing infrastructure projects
Strong track record of managing health & safety on construction sites
Ability to lead teams, drive productivity, and maintain high standards of qualityWhat You'll Need to Succeed

You'll bring a proactive and organised approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to resolve site issues effectively. Experience working on heavy civils or infrastructure schemes is essential.
