Senior Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading company in the water engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer to join their team on a contract basis for the design of a clean water treatment works.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and overseeing the construction of a clean water treatment works
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise project outcomes
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
Preparing detailed design specifications and technical reports
Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies
Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely delivery
Managing project budgets and resources effectively

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience in civil engineering within the water sector
Proficiency in designing water treatment works
In-depth understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work collaboratively within a team
Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
