Overview
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-end residential development in Preston. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards expected for premium residential builds.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all site-based construction activities on high-end residential projects.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and suppliers.
Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme.
Maintain strict health & safety standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Conduct daily site briefings, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
Monitor project progress and report updates to the Project Manager / Contracts Manager.
Manage quality control and finishing standards, ensuring luxury residential specifications are met.
Oversee site logistics, deliveries, and materials management.
Resolve on-site issues efficiently to minimise delays.
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation.
Support project completion including snagging, client handover, and final inspections.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Site Manager on high-end residential projects.
Strong background in luxury housing, bespoke homes, or premium refurbishments.
Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and finishing standards.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Qualifications
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) – Essential
CSCS Card (Black/Gold) – Essential
First Aid at Work – Preferred
Relevant construction qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) – Advantageous
