ER Specialist
Act as deputy to the Head of People Advice and lead the team in their absence
Provide expert guidance on complex ER cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and capability
Advise on high‑risk matters such as whistleblowing, settlement agreements, TUPE, redundancy, and tribunal preparation
Oversee the People Advice phone line, inbox, and business change requests
Build strong relationships with managers and leaders across the business
Analyse ER data to identify trends and support proactive interventions
Mentor People Advisors and support onboarding
Deliver ER training and contribute to policy developmentWhat You'll Bring
CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
Significant ER experience in a complex, fast‑paced organisation
Experience in a unionised environment
Strong knowledge of UK employment law
Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
High emotional intelligence and sound judgement
