Site Manager – Civils (Drainage, Footpaths & Roadworks)

Location: East Lothian
Duration: ~12 weeks initially, with a likely extension of similar duration

Requirements: SMSTS or SSSTS

The Opportunity

We’re working with a contractor who is looking to bring in a Site Manager for upcoming civils works in Dunbar. The initial programme is expected to run for around 12 weeks, with a variation likely to extend the works for a similar period.

This role suits someone who has progressed through the traditional engineering pathway and brings a strong blend of technical capability, site leadership, and commercial awareness.

Scope of Works

You’ll be responsible for managing:

Drainage works

Footpaths

Internal roadways

Potential follow‑on works including car parks and wider general civils packages

What We’re Looking For

SMSTS or SSSTS

Strong technical background in civils

Experience managing drainage, roads, footpaths or similar packages

Proven ability in:

Programme management

Cost control

Safety leadership

Ability to manage subcontractors and drive productivity on site
