Salary: Up to £60,000 + Package

Role Overview
As Design Manager, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating the design process from pre-construction through to project completion. Working closely with internal teams and external consultants, you will ensure design information is delivered on time, meets technical and regulatory standards, and supports efficient project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the design process across construction projects.

Work closely with pre-construction, commercial, and operational teams to support project delivery.

Coordinate and manage external consultants including architects, engineers, and specialist designers.
*
Review design information to ensure compliance, buildability, and cost efficiency.
*
Monitor design programmes and ensure information is delivered in line with project timelines.
*
Identify and support value engineering opportunities during the design phase.
*
Attend design team and client meetings where required.
*
Ensure effective communication between design teams and site delivery teams.
Requirements
*
Experience working as a Design Manager or Assistant Design Manager within a main contracting environment.
*
Strong understanding of the design and build construction process.
*
Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams and consultants.
*
Knowledge of UK construction regulations and technical standards.
*
Strong organisational and communication skills.
*
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem solving.
