Building Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Building Surveyor with specialist knowledge in damp, mould, condensation, and building pathology. The role involves carrying out detailed surveys, diagnosing defects, specifying remedial works, and supporting clients in meeting safety and housing standards.

Job Specification:

* Conduct thorough property inspections focused on damp, mould, condensation, leaks, water ingress, and ventilation issues.

* Use diagnostic tools (e.g., moisture meters, hygrometers, thermal imaging) to identify root causes of defects.

* Assess and report on structural or environmental conditions contributing to damp and mould.

* Ensure all work is adhered to health and safety requirements

* Liaise with contractors, maintenance teams, and tenants to arrange remedial works.

Personal Specification:

* Degree or HNC/HND in Building Surveying or related field.

* Membership or working towards membership of RICS or CIOB.

* CSCS Card

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Asbestos Awareness

* Manual Handling

* Working at Heights

* Abrasive Wheels

* Basic DBS
