Estimator

I’m currently working with a number of well-established façade contractors who are looking to bring experienced Facade Estimators into their commercial teams. These businesses deliver major façade packages across London and the South East, working on high-rise residential, mixed-use, and commercial developments.

This is a great opportunity for an estimator with strong façade knowledge to join companies with a strong pipeline of projects and play a key role in securing high-value tenders.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing the estimating process from initial enquiry through to tender submission, working closely with design, commercial and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Preparing detailed cost estimates for façade packages
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation
• Carrying out material take-offs and preparing BOQs
• Sending enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors and analysing returns
• Identifying value engineering opportunities
• Working closely with pre-construction, design and commercial teams
• Supporting tender meetings and bid submissions

Requirements
• Experience estimating façade or cladding packages
• Knowledge of curtain walling, rainscreen cladding, and façade systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Experience working for a façade subcontractor is preferred

Salary
£55,000 – £75,000 depending on experience.
