Clean Room & Laboratory Fit-Out – Westmeath, Ireland

Our client is a well-established main contractor delivering specialist construction and fit-out projects across Ireland. The company has developed a strong reputation for delivering high-specification environments, including clean rooms, laboratories, pharmaceutical, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, our client is now seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee clean room and laboratory fit-out works on projects based in the Westmeath region.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for coordinating and managing all on-site activities relating to the delivery of controlled environment fit-outs, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives, the Site Manager will play a key role in delivering technically complex projects within regulated environments.

The successful candidate will work closely with project management, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure all clean room and laboratory installations are delivered in accordance with project specifications, programme requirements, and strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate clean room and laboratory fit-out works on site
• Supervise subcontractors delivering specialist packages including partitions, ceilings, HVAC interfaces, finishes, and specialist laboratory installations
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and programme milestones
• Monitor on-site activities to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance are maintained
• Promote and enforce a strong health & safety culture across all project activities
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to resolve technical and programme-related issues
• Manage daily site operations, including work sequencing, site logistics, and resource planning
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and quality checks to ensure standards are maintained
• Assist with the preparation and implementation of method statements and risk assessments
• Maintain accurate site documentation, progress reports, and installation records
• Ensure all works are delivered in line with client expectations and project handover requirements
