Project Director

Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a Tier 1 contractor specialising in the delivery of utility scale solar and BESS projects to recruit a Project Director, to be based in their London office with weekly site visits.

The Project Director role is open to contract and permanent candidates.

Key skills required for the Project Director role

Extensive experience in the power, energy, or renewables sector, with strong knowledge of solar PV and BESS
Proven leadership of large-scale infrastructure or renewable energy projects
Ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams
Strong commercial and project control skills
Relevant senior-level qualification (e.g., high-level NVQ, degree)
Chartered status
Experience with National Grid or a DNO environment desirable

Location and Details of the Project Director role

3 days a week in London office, 2 days a week site visits.
Monday-Friday, full time.
