Aztrum is delighted to be working with a well-established, design-led architectural practice based in London. The studio is recognised for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects across the capital, with a strong focus on technical excellence, collaboration, and innovation.

The practice is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to support the delivery of multiple fire remediation and residential projects across various stages, offering the opportunity to contribute to technically complex schemes within a supportive and highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities for this Senior Architectural Technologist role:

Assist in the management and technical delivery of multiple fire remediation and residential projects across various stages, ensuring compliance and quality throughout RIBA Stages 4–6.

Oversee the development of detailed technical design packages for high-rise and multi-occupancy residential buildings, including those requiring remediation works.

Support project delivery across several live sites across London, coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure progress aligns with programme requirements.

Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key technical point of contact and providing clear project leadership where required.

Oversee and mentor project teams, offering technical guidance to junior staff and ensuring effective collaboration across disciplines.

Produce and review detailed drawings and technical information using Revit, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high-quality delivery in line with current fire safety and building regulation requirements.

Assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required technical and quality standards.

Essential Skills and Experience for this Senior Architectural Technologist role:

7–10+ years’ experience in UK residential architecture, ideally with exposure to fire remediation, high-rise, and multi-occupancy residential buildings.

Proven experience delivering technically complex projects and overseeing technical packages through later RIBA stages.

A practical, delivery-focused technical skill set with a strong understanding of UK building regulations, fire safety requirements, and construction methodologies.

Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.

Proficiency in Revit, with additional technical software experience considered beneficial.

Experience working within a London-based architectural practice, with familiarity with the capital’s residential market and regulatory landscape.
