Project Quantity Surveyor
A well-established and highly regarded construction and property consultancy is seeking a commercially driven Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Central London team. The Project Quantity Surveyor will play an important role in delivering professional quantity surveying services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, education and public sector projects.
This Project Quantity Surveyor position will involve managing key quantity surveying responsibilities throughout the project lifecycle, supporting senior colleagues while maintaining control of day-to-day commercial activities. The Project Quantity Surveyor will work closely with project managers, design teams and clients, ensuring strong cost management and consistent quantity surveying standards across multiple schemes.

The Role
As the Project Quantity Surveyor you will support the commercial performance of projects from pre-construction through to final account.
The role will include:
Preparing cost plans, budgets and feasibility assessments
* Assisting with tender documentation and contract preparation
* Managing procurement processes and subcontract negotiations
* Monitoring valuations, variations and change control
* Supporting risk management and value engineering exercises
* Overseeing interim valuations and contributing to final accounts
* Producing financial reports and project cost updatesThe Project Quantity Surveyor?
You will be commercially aware, organised and confident operating within a professional consultancy environment.
The Project Quantity Surveyor must have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
* Experience working as a Project Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor within construction or consultancy
* Good knowledge of construction contracts (JCT preferred)
* Experience supporting projects through the full project lifecycle
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* MRICS desirable or working towardsIn return……?
