Project Manager – Consultancy (Client-Side)

📍 Based in Shrewsbury | Travel to London 1–2 days per week

A growing construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their team based in Shrewsbury. This role offers the opportunity to work on a range of client-side projects valued between £10m – £30m, providing full project management and bank monitoring services.

This is a client-facing position suited to someone confident managing stakeholders and overseeing projects from inception through to completion.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering project management and monitoring services on behalf of clients and lenders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Acting as Project Manager on client-side construction projects (£10m–£30m)

Providing bank monitoring / fund monitoring services

Managing projects from feasibility through to completion

Coordinating consultants, contractors, and project teams

Monitoring programme, risk, and project performance

Producing client reports and progress updates

Attending site visits and meetings in London 1–2 days per week

Building and maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

Experience working in project management within a consultancy environment

Strong understanding of client-side project delivery

Experience with bank monitoring / fund monitoring (desirable)

Excellent stakeholder and client-facing communication skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Degree qualified in a construction-related discipline (or equivalent experience)
