Steel Erector (Barnstaple)

Interaction Recruitment are looking for experienced Steel Erectors to join a major industrial project in Barnstaple. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operatives seeking long‑term work, strong day rates and the chance to work with a well‑established contractor on a high‑profile build.

Duties will include:

Erecting structural steelwork on a large, fast‑moving industrial site
Operating MEWPs safely (IPAF 3a/3b required)
Assisting with lifting operations if experienced
Working closely with site supervisors and lifting teams
Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
Adhering to all site health & safety procedures

Requirements:

Blue CSCS (Skilled Worker)
IPAF 3a/3b
Slinging experience – desirable
Strong background in structural steel erection
Experience on large‑scale industrial projects
Good awareness of safety and lifting operations
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
Full PPE required

What we offer:

£250–£300 per day (dependent on experience)
