Quantity Surveyor

Conrad Consulting are delighted to be working with a respected multidisciplinary consultancy as they look to strengthen their London team with the appointment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of meaningful projects while progressing their career within a supportive and forward‑thinking environment.

The Role

You’ll join a dynamic cost consultancy team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects across the education, healthcare, and university sectors, typically ranging from £5m to £10m in value. The role offers a healthy mix of pre‑ and post‑contract responsibilities, client interaction, and the chance to play a key part in shaping high‑quality public‑sector environments.

Key Responsibilities

Managing cost planning, estimates, and budget control

Preparing tender documentation and analysing contractor submissions

Providing robust commercial advice to clients and project teams

Administering contracts and overseeing project financial performance

Supporting senior staff and mentoring junior team members where required

About You

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Ideally working toward MRICS (or already chartered)

Strong communication skills and confidence in a client‑facing role

Experience within education, healthcare, or public‑sector projects is highly desirable

A proactive, detail‑driven approach with the ability to manage multiple projects
