Exciting new opportunity as a Quantity surveyor working for a well-known Residential developer based in South West London!

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a leading Uk business with over 50 years of experience and an outstanding £1 billion + turnover! They are a company that delivers a wide variety of developments, ranging from traditional family homes in the countryside to city apartments and vibrant mixed-use schemes and more. They have multiple live developers across London and a landbank for future developments. For this role our client is looking for someone to work on a multi phased scheme which consists of 5 phases with phases 1 & 2 have already been completed and the scheme going on till 2029.

Our client is looking for someone who will follow their culture and values such as delivering on commitments, being open to new ideas, being thorough, and collaborative within the team. They are also looking for someone with a 'can do' mindset that has at least 5 years' experience working as a quantity surveyor and has residential experience and a degree qualification.

Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor

Cost Plan for Major Projects
Site Visits and Construction monitoring
Preparing tender documents and bill of Quantities
Handling variations, claims and contract negotiations
Procurement across a mixture of packages
Monitoring costs throughout the project
Dealing with valuations and payments

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor

Min 5 years Quantity Surveying experience
Degree qualified
Residential experience
Live within commutable distance
