COMPANY OVERVIEW

Working within the live, high-security environment of Heathrow Airport, this role supports the delivery of complex steel and infrastructure projects. These projects demand precision, strong teamwork, and experienced leadership to ensure safe and efficient execution within a challenging operational environment.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Site Manager, you will play a key role in driving project delivery on site. You will lead site teams, manage day-to-day operations, coordinate logistics, and ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead steel erection teams and oversee daily site operations.

Prepare and implement RAMS, lift plans, sequencing, and daily briefings.

Manage logistics including deliveries, plant, equipment, and site progress.

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and programme requirements.

Act as the key point of coordination between the client, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and subcontractors.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

Experience managing steelwork or complex construction sites.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

SMSTS and CSCS required; Appointed Person (AP) experience beneficial.

A calm, confident problem-solver who can manage challenges on site.

YOUR FIRST 1 / 3 / 6 / 12 MONTHS

1 Month: Gain a clear understanding of the project scope, meet the site teams, and support daily coordination.
3 Months: Take ownership of specific work zones and drive site progress.
6 Months: Oversee quality, safety, and productivity outcomes within your area of responsibility.
12 Months: Become a trusted delivery lead contributing to the successful execution of complex projects.
