Hours: Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm and Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
About the Company
Our client is a well-established and highly reputable Building Services subcontractor operating across London. They specialise in CAT A and CAT B commercial office fit-outs, delivering high-quality electrical installations on projects typically ranging from £500k to £3m.
With £17m of secured work already in the order book, the company is experiencing continued growth and is looking to strengthen their delivery team with an experienced Electrical Supervisor. The business prides itself on strong client relationships, quality workmanship, and a collaborative working culture.
The Role
The Electrical Supervisor will play a key role in the successful delivery of commercial fit-out projects across London. Depending on project size, you will operate as a working supervisor on smaller projects and a non-working supervisor on larger schemes, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard.
This is a client-facing position, so candidates must be professional, presentable, and confident communicating with clients, contractors, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising electrical installation works on CAT A & CAT B office fit-out projects
* Leading and coordinating site electricians and subcontract labour
* Working on the tools on smaller projects where required
* Overseeing quality, safety, and programme delivery on larger projects
* Liaising with clients, main contractors, and project managers on site
* Ensuring works comply with relevant electrical regulations and site standards
* Managing materials, site logistics, and day-to-day progress
* Conducting site inspections and maintaining high standards of workmanship
* Supporting commissioning, testing, and project handover where required
Requirements
* Proven experience supervising electrical works within commercial fit-out projects
* Background working on CAT A / CAT B office projects preferred
* Ability to manage both working and non-working supervisory roles depending on project size
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Client-facing experience with a professional and presentable manner
* Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
* SSSTS / SMSTS preferred
* 18th Edition desirable
* 1st Aid
