A well-established M&E contractor specialising in commercial, healthcare, education, and residential projects across the UK is looking to appoint a Mechanical Construction Manager to join their residential division. The role will involve working on a range of high-quality residential developments across Central London.

The company has firmly established itself as a leading name within the building services sector and is recognised as one of the largest independent M&E contractors in the industry.

You will be part of a large and experienced project team, with strong support both upstream and downstream—something the business takes great pride in.

Both permanent and freelance (CIS) options are available.

Package:

£65,000 – £70,000 annual salary (permanent)
£340 – £350 per day (CIS)
25 days annual leave, increasing with length of service

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee mechanical installations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project operations.
Develop work programmes, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.
Ensure all installations comply with design specifications, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
Monitor project costs, approve variations, and collaborate with commercial teams on financial matters.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key project stakeholders.
Resolve technical challenges, delays, and on-site issues efficiently.
