Civil & Structural Engineer

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Civil & Structural Engineer to join their growing team!

Duties:

* Technical leadership

* Team and project management – Key member of the structural design teams through all the project stages

* Undertake structural design for projects including power, energy, rail and renewables

* Comply with design standards and undertake and manage the drawings, specifications, and design deliveralbes

* Client and business engagement – Act as structural engineering contact and build and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors

Requirements:

* BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.

* Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in a design consultancy.

* Proficiency in design software and a high level of computer literacy.

* Knowledge of UK design codes, standards and industry specifications.

* Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills.

* Experience in health and safety management, including CDM Risk Registers.

* Ability to mentor junior engineers and technicians.

* Exceptional communication skills, with the capability to present ideas confidently.

* Membership of a relevant professional body (ICE or IStructE) or near chartered status.

* A current clean UK driving license is advantageous
