Job Title: Site Manager – Commercial Fit-Out (Data Centre Project)
Location: Newport, South Wales
Duration: 6 Months
Daily Rate: £330 CIS

Overview
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the commercial office fit-out phase of a new build data centre project in Newport. This is a 6-month contract with an immediate start, managing the internal fit-out of office and ancillary spaces within a large-scale data centre development.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day site operations for the commercial office fit-out works

* Coordinate subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification

* Oversee quality control and ensure high standards of workmanship

* Maintain site health & safety compliance and lead site inductions/toolbox talks

* Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager

* Manage logistics, materials deliveries, and site documentation

* Ensure works are delivered in line with client requirements and project timelines

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects

* Experience managing office fit-out or CAT A / CAT B works

* Strong subcontractor coordination and site management skills

* Excellent knowledge of health & safety regulations and site procedures

* Ability to drive programme and maintain quality standards

Qualifications

* SMSTS (essential)

* CSCS Card (essential)

* First Aid at Work (preferred)
